Monday

Baby Love came home this afternoon. Here at the house we're all treading lightly as not to disrupt her. She is not happy at all. This time the recovery has been more painful, touching her and moving her is hard. But we are happy she is home and in a few days she will be too. I think these photos say it all. Good news is the worst is over and her pain and disposition get better everyday the vet said, so tomorrow will be a better day for her.

Poor, poor pitiful baby. It's hard now but lots of rest and ear-rubbing (and pain meds) will help make it better. It's just a matter of time and waiting for that betterness is the hardest thing of all!

Thank goodness you are home. I hope that the stitches in your head don't hurt too much. Soon you will be back to your hunting in the grass.

You have the most amazing family. I was so glad to see that now that you are about full grown, that the chances of this happening again are next to nothing. That is wonderful news!

You bring smiles, BabyLove, to all who read about you.

And to her family? You are made of awesome for continuing to give this baby so much.
